The Trilene Knot

The Trilene Knot is a probably the most popular fishing of them all. It has always been a strong and reliable knot that resists slippage and provides a trouble free connection for almost any circumstance.

This is a all purpose knot that is mainly used to connect your mono line to hooks and lures. I will also maintain up to 90% of the original line strength. This easy to tie knot is usually the first knot that many anglers learn.

How to tie a Trilene

1. Pass the end of the line through the eye of the hook or lure twice.

2. Wrap the line around itself five to seven times.

3. Pass the tag end of the line through the double loop in the hook and pull it tight.
